The Gulf of Morbihan by bike

Enjoy a short cycling break exploring Île aux Moines and the Gulf of Morbihan.

Departing from Vannes, it’s an invitation to paradise that we offer you. There’s no other name to describe this inland sea, its islands and peninsulas .

Thanks to the “passeurs”, boats that provide the connections in the gulf, you will join:

– The peninsula of Séné: it’s a narrow land bridge, surrounded by the sea of the Gulf where you can admire many species of birds that nest here. Let yourself be surprised by the flight of an Little egret, or a Grey heron, a wonder in this preserved nature.

– The peninsula of Rhuys which offers a little more activity and a beautiful marina.

– Île-aux-Moines, a haven of peace that you can walk or cycle.

Add an extra day to your trip to uncover the charms of Île d’Arz:

Rich in vegetation, the island will invite you to enjoy the sweetness of life. It is animated by its visitors who come to rediscover it every year but also by young farmers who are reconquering the island with organic crops. Several megalithic monuments testify to the human presence on this place thousands of years ago.

Always in the middle of the water, a refreshing stay, to be shared in couple or family!

Discover Brittany by bike.

The route and scenery was spectacular, but we really enjoyed all the hotels we stayed at during our bike ride, they were in perfect locations and offered excellent service throughout. A special highlight was in Saint-Lo, where we had a front-row view of the town fireworks right from our hotel window!

Fantastic trip! Probably the best bike tour I have been on. Really like the bikes, gps and hotels we stayed at. First class!

Enjoying the amazing scenery of Finistere from quiet, well surfaced roads & by-roads(on the whole). Enjoying good food. Knowing there’s the support & back up of Morgane our very supportive agent at abicyclette. We loved it all, even the challenging bits which we could enjoy once we were relaxing in our lovely comfortable rooms! Thank you!

Very satisfactory. Always punctual with our luggage, the GPS was great and Antoine very helpful explaining bikes and driving us to our starting point. All hotels were nice, clean and with excellent service, mostly from the owners themselves. Many thanks!

So calming: the peace of the canal for long stretches where there was no road noise and no other people. The delivery of our bikes and the welcome from Abiciclette was delightful. We probably needed to go over some technical aspects more than once… Thank you to everyone. We felt to have had a good quality service all round.
