7 days cycling in a relaxing and pleasant natural setting

At the water's edge, you ride to discover a region rich in natural and cultural diversity

Located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland and Austria, Lake Constance offers a dream setting for a beautiful and exotic cycling holiday. The area around Lake Constance is ideal for cycling. You ride on tracks away from any car traffic. Coupled with the beauty of its landscapes, the diversity of cultures gives the Lake Constance region a special charm.

The loop around Lake Constance offers several architectural jewels, it also offers fascinating natural curiosities such as the Rhine delta near Bregenz in Austria, the Rhine waterfalls close to Schaffhausen and the island of Reichenau very close to Constance. All under the gaze of the Alpine peaks that overlook the region.

The towns are restful stopovers where it is pleasant to stroll on the cobblestones like in Constance and its well-preserved old town with its elegant old buildings. Other cities like Meersburg, Stein on the Rhine have a certain charm that will not leave you indifferent. This bike tour also allows you to reach the superb, unmissable rococo-style church of Birnau.

Another major advantage of this circuit around Lake Constance is the possibility of swimming. The refreshing swims after the beautiful bike rides are very popular in the summer. All the ingredients are present to live a beautiful cycling travel experience.

The routes were beautiful and manageable. Loved biking up to the castle and through the vineyard. The bike storage at the hotels was very safe and easy. Also all the hotels on the routes were amazing so beautiful, clean and the rooms were very big! We appreciated the larger room in Colmar to assemble our bicycles. Abicyclette was a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you for an incredible vacation!

A fabulous family experience cycling through Alsace. Valentin’s itinerary organisation was super: riding through the vines, beautiful villages and alongside canals was incredible. The friendly greeting from Jean in Saarbrucken and help getting underway was really appreciated. Thanks for making this such a great adventure.

It was a great combination of challenging and comfortable cycling with good accommodation. The route is a very good one, as it passes through some iconic French towns. Riding into Sete on a gloriously sunny afternoon at the end of October in 22C and seeing so many people enjoying seafood in all the restaurants was wonderful! In this region of France you are never far away from a fabulous meal!

Everything was great, from the start to the end: all the food recommendations, the beach, flamingoes everywhere. Great bikes, great customer service – knowing that there is someone on the phone for us all the time. Great GPS navigation. All the hotels picked were nice.

Thank you Gaëlle, Simon and everyone else!

The beautiful country side was fantastic. Delivery and pick up of bags worked well. Vandenesse spa resort was great and the restaurant next door that we received a voucher for was incredible. Great bike trip but a few hotels were really not in great shape.
