From Quiberon you board one of the sea shuttles to Belle-île-en-mer. Breathe in the ocean air, your journey begins ... You arrive on the small port of Le Palais, the largest town on the island. You ride to the famous Aiguilles de Port Coton, painted by Monet. Two spectacular natural sites, protected by the coastal conservatory, are yours to enjoy. First, the immense Donnant Beach which receives, like an immense funnel, the waters of the ocean. Then the cliffs of Port Coton overlooking its impressive Aiguilles which resist the forces of the Atlantic. Before reaching Port Coton, how about climbing the 247 steps of the Grand Phare ? At the top of the lighthouse enjoy a breathtaking view over the whole island.
You ride South, towards the Pointe du Skeul and the charming village of Locmaria. In the center, the Romanesque church of Notre-Dame de Locmaria is the oldest religious building on the island. You then ride along the northeast coast, where old forts are guarding. Finally the beaches of Grands Sables beaches or the memorable Morgat brewery are a good sport for a halt before getting back to Le Palais.
You ride North and along the coast to Sauzon! The Sauzon marina, the prettiest on the island, was for a long time an active fishing port. You then ride to the Pointe des Poulains where you can enjoy an exceptional view on the island of Groix, Quiberon and Lorient. Sarah Bernhardt lived her for the last thirty summers of her life.

Hello Natalie, We are now back in Sweden from our bicycle tour in Normandy. I would just like to give you some feed back from the tour: We were all very satisfied with the trip. When planning the trip, we found it very easy to work with you, quick answers and good flexibility for our ideas. Excellent choice of roads, which took us through the fantastic landscapes of Normandy, and also along the fashinating see shores ending with the first D-day shore. Most roads with very little traffic. We also appreciated the kindness of all french drivers who never complained although we sometimes were in the middle of the small narrow roads. The distances was OK for all of us. When there was a choice of long or short distances, we always selected the long ones. Easy to find the roads with the excellent GPS and the very good Road Book. We also appreciated the very good choice of B&B, places where we felt wellcome and with good standard. A trip we will recommend to our friends. We also had good luck with the weather, lots of sun, not to strong winds, just one or two showers in daytime. (Was the weather also organised by you??) With Best Regards (05/2017)
