Discover the Monts d’Arrée, a wild mountainous area in the heart of Brittany.

Your ride on the Roc’h, rocky culminating points, which put to the best even the best bikers! You are on a land of legends, on the trails that have made the mountain bike raid “Les Roc’h des Monts d’Arrée” reputation.

Narrow paths take you through moors and forests in a unique landscape with multiple colors. From the Mont d’Arrée’s culminating spot (380 meters high), enjoy a breathaking view of the Natural Park up to the Ocean. Another reward for your efforts!

In the guided version of the tour, a state certified mountain bike instructor accompanies. He advises you on technical aspects and sets up workshops so that everyone can progress in their technique.

You stay in a simple 3 star hotel, where you will be welcomed like if you were at home!

Day 1

HUELGOAT, LA MINE LOOP 22km 353m Niveau Expert

On this first day you can appreciate the unique environment of this part of Brittany. You experience the first sensations on a fun playground, and first efforts on the Armorican mountain.

Day 2

FROM HUELGOAT, CRETES LOOP 55km 881m Niveau Aventure

You leave the shores of Lake Huelgoat and the famous Chaos to attack the climbing ridges of the Monts d’Arrée. A 18 km climb and 215m vertical drop, with some descending parts and some rolling ones, to bring you to the top of the ridge. During 13km, you slalom between the Roc’h (peaks of the ridge), in very beautiful tracks, at the same time rolling and technical, often in single-track, widening by moments. From the top of the ridges, the view of the Regional Natural Park of Armorica is a beautiful reward. Lake Brennilis, Roc’h Saint-Michel and its chapel of the same name, this wild expanse of moors and forests offers a total change of scenery! You descend from the crests through the forest to return to Huelgoat. A total of 55KM for this most impressive stage!

Day 3

FROM HUELGOAT, ROCHERS DU CRAGOU LOOP 43km 950m Niveau Aventure

A stage that takes you to the north of the Park. After having climbed the crest of the Monts d’Arrée, you join the banks of the reserve of Landes du Cragou. The opportunity to observe some reintroduced animals. Then you take the trails to join the Rochers du Cragou. A beautiful point of view awaits you at the top. The return through the forest of Huelgoat offers playful single-tracks.
